Why feed raw?

The reason why we feed raw simply is it’s an unprocessed, natural diet containing a combination of raw meat, bone, offal, fruits and vegetables and great fats!

The benefits of a raw diet:

  • Smaller, non-smelly firmer stools, say goodbye to massive poop bags and large poop
  • 60% less stools due to the body absorbing all the goodness
  • Healthy skin and shinier coat
  • Improved health and vitality
  • Increased immunity
  • No breath or body odour
  • Energy levels are more balanced and consistent
  • Raw food naturally contains moisture so compared to a kibble, your pet will not drink as much, although fresh drinking water should always be available.
  • No more smelly wind!
  • Less itchy

Variety is the key

When feeding raw, variety is essential. Dogs will gain different levels of nutrients from different animals so, the more variety the better.

A raw fruit or vegetable treat like a carrot or banana, goes down well with many dogs and is certainly better than a processed treat. Blueberries are excellent for training, not only are they delicious, they are packed with antioxidants!

Raw fed dogs produce stools that are much smaller, and pellet-like. This results in only passing stools once a day, sometimes skipping a day. This is totally normal. So as long your dog is happy and comfortable, this is fine.

Better Digestion

Raw, natural food can be easier for dogs to digest. Plus, there’s none of the added sugar, bulkers or derivatives found in some pet foods, that can cause our pets digestive issues.

Better Dental Hygiene

Our raw meaty chews are a great natural way to add to your pet’s routine dental care. A tasty, healthy choice to help clean teeth, provide entertainment and freshen breath.

Coat and Skin Condition

Just the right quantities of carefully selected fruits, vegetables, protein and healthy fats can give your dog a glossy coat and may help to improve skin complaints.
